I have again enjoyed reading your newsletters and seeing all the great things you do. I know things change over the summer but a reminder to the state reps to continue to send me monthly reports, I haven't seen many in quite a while. Most clubs have had installation dinners, family picnics or other outings over the summer. Many clubs put out a very abbreviated version of the newsletter as well. September will have everyone back into full swing.

Some of the interesting or different things I read:

MOTC Buffalo has reserved rooms to attend Twinsburg Twins Festival in Cleveland Ohio in August. They are also adding a Dad's Corner to the newsletter and have "Friendships Girls" organizing MOMs night out.

TNT of SOS has a family camping trip planned and has separate "discussion nights" which are great for new members. They also included local community events calendars for the summer.

Nassau Co. MOTC has new member socials, a fantastic fundraising fashion show and has a topic of the month in the newsletter that members write personal experiences/stories to share such as must have equipment, how to find help, and separation in school.

Twinrific MOMs of Lower Westchester included summer crafts for kids and recipes in the newsletter.

Keep up the great work and contact me if you're looking for info about something in particular. I can see if it's happening in another club and put you together!

Thank you,
Lisa

It has been so interesting to read the newsletters I've received so far. Some are incredible! Whether a club is very large or very small, we have a core of the same events and activities. We're all trying to support our members, have fun activities and increase or maintain membership. Part of why I wanted to serve as VP was to read all the newsletters and see what great things you all are doing that could help our clubs to be even better. Therefore, I will continue what Linda was doing last year and share what's going on throughout the state in this article.
